Collin Gustafson

Learning Assessment, Assistant Director, Learning Assessment

Collin has worked at Valencia College for 5 years. He began his time at the college as Technical Specialist for Learning Assessment before moving to Coordinator of Accreditation for Institutional Effectiveness. As Technical Specialist, he helped transition the college to the current Leaning Outcomes Assessment model by providing technical support to the assessment teams across the college. While Coordinator of Accreditation he supported the Director of Institutional Effectiveness with Valencia College's 2023 Decennial Reaffirmation for their institutional accreditor SACSCOC as well as organized and kept records of Strategic Governance at the college. Prior to his time in higher education, Collin was an E-Specialist at the Jacksonville Public Library. He earned his Bachelor of Mass Communications from the University of South Florida.

Sophia Burgos

Learning Assessment, Technical Specialist

Sophia has been with Valencia College since 2018. In her time with the college, she has served students at all stages of the enrollment and registration process. Currently, she is the Technical Specialist for Learning Assessment, where she now provides technical support to both the Learning Assessment teams and faculty. Her passion for computer programming and problem-solving inspired her to seek a role where she could not only enhance her skills but also apply her knowledge to assist others effectively. She previously earned the AA General Degree and a Technical Certificate in Operations Support and Services. Sophia is also actively pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computing Technology and Software Development.
